Collaborate with Wendy Carey

Wendy Carey is the Inaugural Assistant Gymnastics Coach at Talladega College, the 2nd HBCU to sponsor collegiate women's gymnastics. Prior to Talladega College, Wendy was as the assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Wendy assisted the defending 2022 DIII NCGA National Champions in earning a second consecutive DIII National Title, as they were named the 2023 DIII NCGA National Champions. Previously, Wendy was the Assistant Coach for the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Team at the Centenary College of Louisiana, where she contributed in coaching the 2021 USAG Uneven Bars National Champion, Taylor Wilson, along with All-American Athletes: [2021] Sierra Ponder, [2021 & 2022] Kendall Sanders (2022 NCAA Woman of the Year, Conference Level Section Winner & 2022 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team), [2021] Xian Baumgartner, [2021] Kendall Huff and [2021 & 2022] Taylor Wilson. Wendy has contributed to the world of gymnastics as an athlete, coach, choreographer, and judge since 1999. Wendy has a B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas Tech University and a M.S. in Kinesiology from Texas Woman's University and she is an alumni of the Texas Tech University Gymnastics Team. In addition to Talladega College, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and the Centenary College of Louisiana Gymnastics; Wendy has coached and choreographed for USAG J.O. athletes and NAIGC Texas Tech University athletes. Wendy is an accredited Judge through NAWGJ and has been fortunate to work with some great coaches throughout her career. Wendy has coached at various gymnastics camps including Chellsie Memmel's Annual Adult Gymnastics Camp, M&M HP Camp, LSU Gymnastics Camp, UW-Whitewater Camp, UW-Oshkosh Camp, Flip Fest Gymnastics Camp, Showtime Camp (Hosted in Mississauga, ON., at Flip Fest, and many other locations) and College Bound Camps (Hosted by S&S Gym Camps at WOGA, WCC, and many other locations). Wendy also coaches in gym clinics, and judges in gym intrasquad competitions for your team.
